Description

Our Acne Clear Scrub utilises the same formula as the Acne Clear
Cleanser however contains natural beads to mechanically exfoliate the
skin and unclog pores. Perfect for acne and breakout-prone, oily,
combination and normal skin types. It has resurfacing properties to
remove skin cells and open blocked pores. Contains 3 active natural
chemical exfoliators for noticeably clearer skin.

The BHA salicylic acid is a lipid (oil) soluble molecule. This allows
it to penetrate pores that contain sebum (oil) and exfoliate the pore
lining. This keeps the pore open and prevents blockages. The AHA’s
target dead and damaged cells on the surface of the skin. This increases
shredding of old, dead skin cells at the pore opening allowing for oil
to flow freely. Mildly acidic to match the skin’s pH. Softens and
exfoliates without drying out or irritating the skin. Benzyl Peroxide
Free.

Used on active blemishes and all blemish-prone areas to control
future outbreaks. Effective even though contact time with the skin is
short.

When introducing professional strength products, including Glycolic Acid, it is not uncommon to experience a slight, initial response. This can include dryness, flakiness, and tightness. This is due to the cell turnover of the Stratum Corneum (dead skin layer) and will generally settle within a few weeks resulting in the appearance of beautiful, translucent skin. Your clinic and/or allmedic staff will be able to assist you during this transition.
