New and improved face & body cleanser

We have just released new packaging for our face & body cleanser – a tube with no leaking for easy travel and the same trusted product and price. The cleanser is still ideal for sensitive skin because it is free from ingredients that are known irritants and allergens for many people.

The new tube packaging has a number of benefits in comparison to the previous pump pack:

• It travels a lot better and is fitted with a non-reverse valve to help ensure the pack does not leak, even after it has been opened.
• The pack is stable and more suitable for use in the bath, shower or basin.
• It has a tamper proof seal on the cap.

Like all of allmedic’s clinical skin care products, our cleanser is hypoallergenic and free of soap (sodium lauryl sulphate), perfumes (fragrances), dyes (artificial colours), propylene glycol, phthalates, parabens and marketing hype.

Let’s explain what that means.

Applying soap to your skin has the same effect as if you applied dishwashing detergent. Washing with soaps and detergents containing sodium lauryl sulphate or sodium laureth sulphate activates an enzyme system that destroys the skin’s integrity and causes water loss, leading to dehydration and itchiness. Synthetic fragrances in skin care products are only listed as “fragrance” or “parfum” on product labels, so their chemical make-up is not usually revealed. There could be serious health concerns surrounding many of the chemicals in fragrances which have been found to potentially contribute to asthma and eczema. Phthalates, parabens, propylene glycol and artificial colorants are other chemical ingredients that could irritate the skin or compromise your health.

So you can see your body will benefit from not being exposed to any of these potentially dangerous chemicals.
